Amir Khan may have put an end to his boxing career, but now he is using his experience and expertise to help transform the lives of young, aspiring boxers.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Amir Khan Academy<\/strong> was established in 2015<\/strong> by the former Olympic champion<\/strong>, Amir Khan, who was born and raised in Bolton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Academy has been in partnership<\/strong> with Round4Round<\/strong>, another boxing gym, for the last three years<\/strong>, aiming to help young people build their self-confidence<\/strong> and discipline.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Academy was originally<\/strong> created to give young people of all ages “a safe space”<\/em> to develop<\/strong> their boxing skills,<\/strong> improve their mindsets<\/strong> and stay on a secure path<\/strong> toward a healthy lifestyle.<\/strong><\/p>\n The ambassador<\/strong>, Amir Khan<\/strong>, has a strong belief<\/strong> in the future stars of tomorrow and hopes that the Academy will “uplift”<\/em> and “inspire”<\/em> the students, as well as help them combat<\/strong> social issues<\/strong> such as knife crime, reduce the risk of obesity, <\/strong>and improve education.<\/strong><\/p>\n The boxing gym<\/strong> is currently located<\/strong> in the Amir Khan Academy<\/strong> on Prince St.<\/strong><\/p>\n Khan himself frequently<\/strong> visits the Academy<\/strong>, offering assistance and support to students<\/strong> while serving as a source of motivation<\/strong> for the community.<\/p>\n Moreover, the Academy is staffed by professional coaches<\/strong> who have previously worked with Khan throughout his career<\/strong>, such as Ashif Ashik <\/strong>and even Khan’s brother, Haroon Khan.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Academy ensures<\/strong> that boxing lessons, fitness classes, <\/strong>and mentorship programs<\/strong> are all available<\/strong> to young people attending.<\/p>\n While the Academy provides<\/strong> support<\/strong> to aspiring boxers <\/strong>and athletes<\/strong>, the Amir Khan Foundation<\/strong> also plays a significant role<\/strong> in assisting<\/strong> those in need<\/strong>.<\/p>\n For 2025<\/strong>, Khan launched a Ramadan Appeal<\/strong>, to make a difference<\/strong> to the lives of those suffering<\/strong> from the humanitarian<\/strong> crisis<\/strong> in Gaza<\/a>,<\/strong> and the food poverty<\/strong> in Pakistan.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
