You may have heard names like Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris, seen fans sporting vibrant, red Ferrari caps, or come across the iconic meme of George Russell striking a T-pose. But do you truly know about the breath-taking and thrilling world from which all of this comes?
From the roar of the engines to the electrifying passion of the crowd, the world of motorsports never fails to amaze me. Whether it’s the high-speed battles in Formula 1, the intense wheel-to-wheel battles in Formula 2, or the rising stars of F1 Academy, each series brings its own unique energy to the track.
I’ve always been captivated by the speed of the cars but, most of all, by the determination and enthusiasm that the drivers possess.
Every driver on the grid has their own story– whether it’s starting out in go-karts or lifting the championship trophy. For some, it takes weeks to rise up to the top; for others, it takes years to showcase their true talent and skill.
It’s not only a mental challenge, but also a physical one.
I love watching drivers achieve their maiden wins, the competitive battles between drivers, and soaking in the atmosphere of the crowd. The ladder that many climb to get the chance to race in Formula 1 is long. However, each step is a step closer to success. I’m especially inspired by the women who are breaking barriers in motorsports, both on and off track.
As an aspiring journalist and presenter, these aspects of the sport have inspired me to create my own blog, where I share my thoughts and opinions with other passionate motorsport fans.
In this blog, I want to help people understand that motorsports is not just about fast cars, but also about the many personalities behind the teams and drivers, as well as the overall challenge of being a race car driver.
Whether you have been a motorsports fan for years or are a rookie to the sport, you are all welcome. So, put on your helmets and prepare yourself for a race around the world of motorsport!
